With over thirty years of experience in the BDSM lifestyle, in and out of local scene communities, Norm has been able to intentionally connect, negotiate, and explore with a number of partners, many of whom have been quite new to understanding and connecting with their own submission. Informed consent has always been a foundational concept for him, from well before his own entry into the BDSM community.
Over the last two years he has found a passion for assisting the exploration of self and submission in newer submissives. This manifests as an intent to help them discover just what submission means to them as well as how to integrate it into their lives. He is slowly trying to transform this knowledge into a written guidebook, with the aim to more broadly help people to avoid falling into common problems that leave them feeling hurt, taken advantage of, exploited, or abused.
More broadly he has a deep appreciation of the complicated way that societal conditioning, familial expectations, and the diverse standards of acceptable sexual behavior can really inhibit a solid relationship with one's own sexuality.
I came to Yomonsni with little experience of being authentically myself. Over a number of online sessions, Norm met me where I was at with patient guidance. He has an impressive breadth of knowledge that allows for exploration of many topics. Discussions were always non judgemental and my emotions were well supported.
A weekend retreat was opportunity to explore further and more deeply. In person Norm has a reassuring presence that quickly put me at ease. Submission was explored with sensitivity and respect for my boundaries. I am thankful for the way we have worked together to enrich my life and would highly recommend Norm as a coach.

Words are symbols of meaning, they represent ideas and concepts outside of the mark on the page or the screen or the sound in our ears. However, this representation is not nearly a static thing, for language evolves with the rhythm of our breath and the turning of the world. The meaning of a word is colored by culture, history, by our own personal experiences and insights, acting like a prism that refracts the light of our intent.

You might find yourself nodding along as you read, noticing how that phrase echoes in your own quiet moments. Perhaps you’ve waited for a sign, wondering when exactly you’ll feel prepared enough to begin.
